Foundation of Cyber Defense
A practical entry point into cybersecurity that covers threats, attacker thinking, defensive controls, hardening and hands-on lab work in a safe, legal environment.
Seven industry-oriented courses in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, application security, network security, Linux, Python and AI — taught by working practitioners, delivered on hands-on labs, and finished with a project or a capture-the-flag challenge.
You do not need to take them in order, but the path below is the sequence most students follow. Each node is a course. Each course is designed so the one after it feels like the natural next step rather than a fresh start.
Every course page lists what you will learn, what tools you will use, what you need before starting, and what you will be able to do when you finish.
A practical entry point into cybersecurity that covers threats, attacker thinking, defensive controls, hardening and hands-on lab work in a safe, legal environment.
A hands-on application security programme covering the OWASP Top 10, secure code review, authentication and session flaws, API security and structured vulnerability reporting.
Learn how networks actually behave, how traffic is captured and analysed, and how firewalls, segmentation, VPNs and monitoring are used to defend real infrastructure.
A grounded introduction to artificial intelligence and machine learning — data handling, model training, evaluation and the practical limits of AI in real business and security contexts.
A structured Python programme that takes you from syntax to production-grade scripting, file and network automation, APIs, data handling and clean, testable code.
Master the Linux command line, users and permissions, services, storage, networking, package management, shell scripting and baseline server hardening.
A practical, hands-on ethical hacking programme built on the CEH v13 curriculum — 20 modules and 72 hours of intensive training that take you from foundational security concepts to a complete offensive and defensive skillset, practised in controlled, authorised lab environments.
Most people start with one of three courses, depending on their background. If you are not sure, the contact form reaches a human who can help you choose in a few minutes.
You have never programmed, or you have only touched code briefly. You want a solid foundation before choosing a specialisation.
Start with Python Development Professional or Foundation of Cyber Defense.
You build web applications, APIs or backend services, and you want to build them more safely and understand how they can be attacked.
Start with Application Security Professional.
You administer servers, networks or cloud infrastructure and want to add a security dimension to what you already do well.
Start with Foundations of Network Security or Foundations of Linux System Administration.
The subject matter differs, but the structure does not. This is what a typical week in any of our courses looks like.
Concepts introduced clearly, with just enough theory to understand what is happening underneath.
Every concept is practised on a disposable machine you can break without consequence.
Graded challenges that escalate from guided to open-ended so progress is visible.
A scoped project modelled on real work, reviewed the same way, so you finish with something to show.
Every course finishes with a portfolio piece and a set of demonstrated techniques. If a topic is on the syllabus, it is something you have actually done on a machine, not just read about.
If you do not see your question here, the contact form is the fastest way to get an answer.
It depends on where you are starting from and where you want to end up. If you are new to technology work entirely, Python Development Professional or Foundation of Cyber Defense are the two natural entry points. If you already write code, Application Security Professional builds directly on what you know. If you already work in IT or networking, Foundations of Network Security or Foundations of Linux System Administration extend your existing skills into security. Contact us if you are unsure — we would rather help you pick the right course than take your fee for the wrong one.
Yes, and many students do. The courses are designed to be complementary. Foundation of Cyber Defense pairs naturally with either Foundations of Network Security or Application Security Professional. Python Development Professional pairs well with Foundations of Artificial Intelligence. If you are planning a longer path, contact us and we will help you sequence them properly.
All courses are taught in person, classroom-only at our Badlapur East, Thane academy — we do not run online batches. Colleges and organisations that want a session delivered at their premises should contact us through the For Institutions or Corporate Solutions pages.
Certificate details are being finalised and will be listed on each course page when they are confirmed. What we will say is that the project work and lab exercises you complete during the course are the substance of what you have learned, and they are what a prospective employer will ask about in an interview. A certificate is a useful record of attendance; a portfolio of finished work is the thing that actually gets you hired.
Yes. For colleges and universities, we deliver workshops, seminars and longer programs — see the For Institutions page for details. For organisations, we run both the standard courses for individual staff and custom corporate training built around your specific environment — see the Corporate Solutions page. There is no cost to discuss what is possible.
